Photos and Photo editing are important classroom tools. They involve taking photos then perhaps editing the photos to make them better.
My two articals
Classroom teacher use photos and photoediting in a variety of ways. 1. In one Classroom the teacher uses photos and photoediting so the children can see things that have been done to a magazine image. How to change a photo by cut outs, putting one part of the image in color. Next the classroom discuss on what each student did and compare to others work. 2. Another activity would be working in groups and learning on how to balance color, remove scratches, cut out and blend images.

Unit/Lesson Topic: Recognizing and naming letters in your name. Students names – Classroom list Grade: Pre-K/Preschool Time of year: Beginning of the year Activities: Classroom Album (Photos and Photo editing)—Teacher will write each student’s name on a piece of poster board. Each student will decorate their name the teacher made for each and every one. When the student is done decorating their name, the teacher will take a picture of the student with their name in front of them. Save the pictures on a computer and go to pixlr.com click on Open Pixlr editor (Advanced) then Open image from computer. Selected a picture of a student to work or edit. Let the child help and pick what adjustment and filter he/she wants. Put the original one to the right and the other picture to the left. Do this with all the students in the class.
